I am up early because my rescheduled manicure is at 9:00 am. Cruise ships are good at marketing especially on routes like this one with a lot of days at sea. The spa has a 3 for 2 offer; my back and neck have been giving me a lot of discomfort so I arrange for a massage treatment. Every day in Brisbane and Melbourne and Sydney, I carried a tote bag on my right shoulder. Even as light as possible, it still was a burden, especially when it was often heavier after grocery runs.
My first massage treatment is in the afternoon and Tetti’s hands are very skillful. She is a miracle worker.
We do not see Wes and Carol today, other than passing on some Gravol, as Wes is not well. The sea is quite rough and it is very windy. Tropical Cyclone Vaianu is making its presence known. It is a quiet day for us with reading and napping. I do some writing and photo manipulation in anticipation of having an internet connection tomorrow in Auckland.
The clouds contribute to a beautiful sunset.
Dinner is just the two of us, so we have the full attention of Nannan and Sam.
